BOSS (Bispecific Antibody Outpatient Safe Step-Up) is a multidisciplinary program at Dana-Farber, created to transition care to the outpatient setting for patients receiving bispecific antibody step-up dosing. Step-up dosing refers to a gradual increase in dose to allow the patient's immune system to adjust, which helps to reduce the risk of CRS (cytokine release syndrome) and ICANS (immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome).
The goal of this website project was to create an educational module with clinical resources and video simulations to educate and empower patients and their interdisciplinary team in the collaborative implementation of safe and effective outpatient step-up dosing of bispecific antibodies in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
